Malaysia-based Founder Group Limited, a EPCC provider for solar PV systems, has secured a MYR 10 million (~$ 2.36 million) contract to build a 30 MW large-scale solar plant. The contract covers civil, structural, and infrastructure works along with installation, testing, and interconnection. The project is set to finish by late 2025. When running, the plant will produce about 60,000 MWh of power each year, cutting nearly 40,000 tons of CO2 emissions. It will also provide around 60,000 Renewable Energy Certificates to the market. These certificates will support corporate consumers in meeting energy goals. Founder Group has delivered similar facilities with the same solar installation companies in recent years.
