Eiffage, through its Eiffage Energía Sistemas unit, has secured a €134 million contract from Everwood Capital to build two solar PV plants in Córdoba, Spain: the 250 MW Cabra and 50 MW Olivar plants in Montemayor. The turnkey contract included supply of main equipment, high-voltage connection infrastructure, and O&M services. The plants were estimated to generate over 6 lac MWh per year, supplying power to more than 172,000 homes. Environmental plans included a green plant screen to reduce visual impact and support local biodiversity. Construction started, with commissioning expected from June 2027. Eiffage Energía Sistemas had built over 130 solar plants totaling 7.7 GW and 102 wind farms totaling 4 GW across several countries.
