European Energy, a Danish company, has inaugurated its first hybrid park in Kronoberg County, Sweden, combining a 39.3 MW solar park with a 49.6 MW wind park of eight turbines. The facility was expected to generate around 126 GWh annually, supplying power to over 25,000 households. The hybrid design provided complementary production patterns and used a single grid connection to lower costs. Construction lasted four years, and existing soil was reused to reduce transport. Measures included keeping ponds, creating habitats, and planting for pollinators. Maria Arnholm, Governor of Kronoberg County, officially opened the park. Skåramåla was the first of three planned hybrid parks, with Grevekulla in Ydre Municipality already under construction.Prior to this, European Energy secured funds for 137 MW solar parks in Australia, further expanding its renewable portfolio.
