Copenhagen-headquartered European Energy has started construction of the 31 MW Mulwala Solar Farm in New South Wales, Australia. The project is located on a 215-hectare site near Mulwala, with about one-third of the land allocated for solar arrays while the remainder continues to support cattle grazing. The company said that the facility is designed to generate around 66 GWh of electricity annually, by supplying power to local communities once connected to the grid next year. The Mulwala Solar Farm is European Energy’s first project in New South Wales. The construction activities have begun following site preparation and grid connection planning, ensuring the project’s integration into the regional power network upon completion.
