EPP, the shopping centre manager in Poland by GLA, partnered with Sunbird Solar Solutions to install photovoltaic systems across 13 facilities. The project, partially financed by an investment loan from mBank, had a planned total capacity of over 7.1 MW. It aimed to cut annual emissions by about 4,000 tons of COâ‚‚ equivalent, or 6%, while improving energy efficiency in EPP’s portfolio. Installations were scheduled for malls including Galaxy, Echo Gallery, Grunwaldzki Passage, King Cross Marcelin, Outlet Park, Amber Gallery, Galeria Sudecka, Olimpia Gallery, Veneda Gallery, Zamość Fortress Gallery, Solna Gallery, Kłodzko Fortress Gallery, and Młociny Gallery. EPP and Sunbird also planned further expansion of solar systems in additional shopping centres across Poland.
