Germany-based EnviTec Biogas AG, the von Lehmden group, and Freese Beratungs GmbH have started EnviTec WindôSolar GmbH & Co. KG to expand into wind and solar energy. EnviTec Biogas AG had already developed solar projects like the Wuschewier, Petkus, and Buckow parks. The Wuschewier solar park, covering 47 hectares, has 101,712 PV modules, supplying power to 16,000 households. A transformer station was built 1.7 km away for €3 million. The Petkus and Buckow PV plants each have a 65 MW capacity, with Buckow’s energy set to be supplied to VW subsidiary PowerCo SE under a ten-year contract starting in 2025. While past projects were handled by EnviTec Biogas AG, all future solar and wind projects will be managed by EnviTec WindôSolar. The company is developing five more solar parks and three wind farms, focusing on low-yield farmland. It operates with a small team to manage land efficiently and expand its renewable energy projects.
