UK-headquartered Enviromena, a leading provider of clean energy solutions, has completed the energisation of Kiln Fields Solar Farm, an 18 MW project in Heckfield, Hampshire. The site, partially located on a former landfill, underwent geotechnical and flood risk assessments to ensure safety and reliability. Kiln Fields is expected to generate over 18,000 MWh of electricity annually, contributing to the UK’s renewable energy targets. The project includes biodiversity enhancements, such as native grassland planting and habitat improvements. This is the second project energised under the grid's Technical Limits programme, following Horsey Levels in Bridgwater. Enviromena will oversee long-term operations and maintenance to ensure consistent performance.Â
