Enurgen, an Ottawa-based solar performance software firm founded in 2022, has raised $4.1 million in seed funding co-led by the Business Development Bank of Canada, Brightspark, and Diagram, with participation from MaRS IAF. The capital will advance Enurgen’s physics-based solar yield modelling platform, which calculates irradiance from cell level to utility-scale plants. Enurgen said the approach minimizes variance between predicted and actual performance and addresses growing complexity and tighter margins in solar projects. Enurgen plans to use the funding to expand deployment and continue R&D to improve model-to-field precision.
