Romania-headquartered ENEVO Group, an engineering and energy solutions company, has completed the construction and commissioning of the 68.99 MW Teiuș Photovoltaic Power Plant in Alba County, Romania. The project was the largest renewable energy initiative financed under Romania’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). It had a total investment of €55 million ($61.86 million), including €15 million ($16.88 million) from PNRR. The solar park spans 80.5 hectares. It included tracking systems for higher efficiency. The plant has an expected annual output of over 103 GWh. This is enough to power more than 25,000 households. The site allowed dual land use through livestock grazing by over 130 farmers. ENEVO Group led the EPC execution. It was supported by Alpin Sun and Electroalfa. They delivered the PV plant, a 110/20 kV substation, and an 80 MVA transformer station according to Romanian grid standards.
