Enery, an Austria-based independent green power producer has acquired Project Lassie, Slovakia’s largest operational solar portfolio, from ContourGlobal and Energy Infrastructure Partners. The portfolio consists of 32 photovoltaic plants with a combined capacity of 34.6 MW strategically distributed across Slovakia. According to Enery, the acquisition increases its total operating capacity to 561 MW and annual clean energy generation to 651 GWh. As per ContourGlobal, the divestment is part of its asset rotation strategy aimed at focusing on renewable growth in core markets. Enery said the acquisition strengthens its Slovak presence, complementing its existing 10 MW assets and 0.6 GW development pipeline while supporting long-term industrial Power Purchase Agreements to enable Slovakia’s decarbonization efforts.
