Spain’s Enerside Energy SA has announced on September 19, 2025, that it has signed a strategic collaboration framework with a major industrial partner valued at more than $28 billion. The agreement is for three years and is focused on the joint development of up to 1 GW of solar and battery storage projects in Italy. Enerside is responsible for technical design, permitting, and overall project development. The industrial partner has provided expertise and advanced technology to strengthen execution capacity. The deal also includes a right of first refusal for the partner to acquire selected assets from Enerside’s portfolio. This condition is aligned with Enerside’s asset rotation strategy under its business plan. The collaboration has created a stable framework to advance projects to commercial operation within the agreed timeline.
