Germany-headquartered ENERPARC AG, a solar energy company, has secured funding to build a 400 MW solar power project in Germany. It received €216 million (~$289.9 million) for project costs and €50 million (~$54.49 million) for extra financial support. This setup allows flexible use of funds for different types of solar projects, including those with government-fixed prices (FIT) and direct business deals (PPA). The funds would be used over 24 months as projects reached the ready-to-build stage. The long-term facility, lasting up to 24 years, covered both construction and operation. LBBW provided the financing, with Capcora as the financial advisor. Simmons & Simmons LP acted as the lender’s legal advisor. This financing helped ENERPARC expand its solar portfolio and support Germany’s energy transition.
