Finland-based Eltel will build the 129 MW Hallanvahti solar power plant in Joroinen, Finland, for Taaleri Energia under a EUR 73.5 million contract. The project includes building the plant, connecting it to the grid, and maintaining it. It is expected to generate 140 GWh of electricity yearly, enough for 18,000 homes, and reduce 29,300 tons of CO₂ emissions. A conditional EPC contract was signed in late 2024 and later confirmed with a full Notice to Proceed. Construction will start in Q1 2025, and the plant is expected to be fully operational by mid-2026.
