Dovre completes acquisition of Renetec Oy shares

Strengthening its solar projects and expanding into BESS solutions in Finland, Dovre Group has acquired full ownership of Renetec Oy, boosting its renewable portfolio.

Finland-based Dovre Group has recentlty acquired the remaining 42.8% of Renetec Oy shares, also based in Finland, becoming the sole owner of the company. Based on an agreement between the parties, the purchase price has not been disclosed. Renetec has specialized in developing solar park projects, focusing on land acquisition and securing grid connection points. Its portfolio has included multiple 10-20 MW solar projects, all nearing Ready-to-Build status with permits and agreements finalized. These projects have been strategically located near grid connections to ensure commercial viability and efficiency. Renetec has also announced plans to expand its development portfolio to include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). These BESS installations have options to co-locate with solar parks or operate as standalone sites.
