DAS Solar enters Bloomberg Top 8 global PV module manufacturers

BloombergNEF ranked DAS Solar among the Top 8 global PV makers as the company expanded TOPCon technology, offshore solar solutions, and zero-carbon certified factories.

DAS Solar, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has been ranked among the Top 8 global PV makers by BloombergNEF. The company has advanced its n-type TOPCon technology from version 1.0 to 5.0, achieving over 27% cell efficiency and 746 mV open-circuit voltage. DAS Solar said that its innovation strategy also includes diamond back-contact, tandem perovskite-silicon, and multi-photon silicon research, targeting 40% efficiency. The company has established overseas facilities in Germany, Japan, and Australia as part of Chinaโ€™s Going Global policy. DAS Solar has developed floating PV systems with corrosion-resistant aluminum-polymer materials and holds over 140 related patents. The company operates zero-carbon certified factories in Quzhou and Zhangzhou, recognized by Zhejiang Province and Bloomberg Green. Earlier this year, DAS Solar and UtmoLight jointly introduced the TSiP 2.0 tandem solar module to enhance high-efficiency product offerings.
