CWP Europe has signed a Joint Declaration of Support with the European Commission (DG ENEST), the Albanian Investment Development Agency, and the Montenegro Investment Promotion Agency during the EU-Western Balkans Investment Forum in Tirana. The agreement has supported two major projects — the 600 MW Tropoja Wind Farm in Albania and the 400 MW Montechevo Solar Farm with Battery Storage in Montenegro. The Montechevo project is connected to Montenegro’s 400 kV power grid and an undersea cable to Italy for electricity exports. The initiatives also reinforced cooperation between the Western Balkans and the European Union to build a more independent and connected energy market.
