Constant Energy, a Thailand-based renewable energy developer and independent power producer affiliated with Belgium’s Virya Energy Group, has completed the acquisition of a 7.7-megawatt portfolio of operational solar photovoltaic projects from EDP Renewables APAC. The portfolio consists of four fully operational sites located across Thailand and operates under long-term power purchase agreements with established industrial off-takers. According to Constant Energy, the acquisition aligns with its strategic plan to expand its footprint in key Asian growth markets and strengthen its renewable generation portfolio. Green Horizon Capital Partners acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Constant Energy and managed the transaction process with EDP Renewables APAC. The acquisition has further reinforced Constant Energy’s position in Thailand’s solar market and supports its long-term objective of scaling renewable energy capacity across the region.
