ConnectM Technology Solutions, a US-based provider of digital energy platforms, has acquired India-based Cambridge Energy Resources Ltd. for ₹120 million ($1.4 million), following a three-year regulatory approval process and competitive bidding. Cambridge Energy Resources provides rooftop solar and energy management services for telecom infrastructure supporting India’s renewable and 5G rollout goals. The acquisition grants ConnectM a local base to scale its Home and Building Electrification and Energy Intelligence Network platforms across India. ConnectM stated that this acquisition aligns with the March 2025 launch of its first HBE project in India. The fair market value of Cambridge Energy Resources was assessed at ₹240 million ($2.8 million) during the acquisition. The deal supports India’s 2030 target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity.
