Complete Solaria, Inc., a California-based solar technology company, has rebranded to operate under the name SunPower, effective April 22, 2025. The company was founded in April 1985, became publicly traded in 2005 and surpassed $1 billion in revenue by 2008. CEO T.J. Rodgers stated that the rebranding reflects a return to a name long associated with solar innovation and operational performance. SunPower also unveiled a new Helios logo, inspired by NASA’s unmanned solar aircraft that used SunPower solar cells to reach 96,863 feet in 2001. The company’s ticker symbols will change to SPWR and SPWRW as part of the rebranding.
