Civ Robotics, a US-based construction robotics firm, has secured $7.5 million in Series A funding. AlleyCorp led the round, joined by Bobcat Company, KASIKORN X Venture Capital and previous investors. The total funding now stands at $12.5 million. The company has deployed over 100 robots across global job sites. Its flagship product, CivDots, performs surveying up to eight times faster with 8 mm accuracy. The robots can mark 3,000 points daily and operate in all conditions. Civ Robotics has reached profitability this year. Its technology has supported over 20 GW of solar farm construction worldwide. Major firms, including Bechtel, have adopted its solutions. The company is expanding into new markets and developing additional autonomous products for construction.
