CGN Brasil, is a CGN Group’s clean energy arm in Brazil, has energized the 165MW Lagoinha Solar Complex in Russas, Ceará. It is the company’s first greenfield solar project in Brazil. The complex has the capacity to supply over 2 lac homes with clean electricity. The project strengthens CGN Brasil’s operational presence in the country’s solar sector. It was completed through coordinated execution by dedicated teams. The energization reflects steady progress in expanding solar infrastructure in northeastern Brazil. The development also aligns with national goals on energy reliability and low-carbon generation. CGN Brasil runs 7 wind and 3 solar plants in five states, with over 1.4 GW of total capacity.
