UK-headquartered British Solar Renewables (BSR), an integrated solar and storage developers, has secured a GBP 345 million debt facility for its UK energy portfolio. The portfolio includes 12 solar and battery storage projects with 609 MW capacity. These projects are expected to produce 600 GWh of electricity per year. That output is enough to power around 160,000 homes and reduce carbon emissions by 140,000 tons annually. The investment supports the UK’s net zero targets and strengthens national energy security. Financing was arranged with Lloyds Bank, NatWest, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. Legal advice came from Bracewell LLP. The deal reflects confidence in BSR’s ability to develop, operate, and maintain renewable energy projects while contributing to energy supply and local economies.
