Boviet Solar to open $294M module plant in Greenville by 2025

At its $294 million Greenville facility, Boviet Solar announced module production starting mid-2025, creating 908 jobs and supporting solar projects.

US-based Boviet Solar is set to begin solar module production at its new $294 million facility in Greenville, North Carolina, by mid-2025. The company has installed over 50% of the equipment, with the rest to be positioned by January 2025. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing connections are scheduled for February. Phase I will focus on producing 2.0 GW of Gamma Series™ and Vega Series™ PV modules annually. Mass production under Phase I is expected to start in 2025. Phase II will focus on high-efficiency solar cell production, beginning operations in 2026. The facility will create approximately 908 local jobs. It will support utility-scale and large commercial solar projects across North America.
