Boviet Solar Technology Co., Ltd., a Vietnam-based manufacturer of PV modules, have recently obtained three ISO certifications for its manufacturing facility in the US. The North Carolina fab has received ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications for quality, environmental and occupational health and safety aspects from the International Organization for Standards (ISO). Boviet Solar has confirmed that ISO 9001 certifies that they comply with international standards for quality and durability of the modules. ISO 14001 certifies the environmental aspects such as controls on emissions, energy efficiency and waste reduction. ISO 45001 certifies that there are safe systems in reducing risk in the workplace. Boviet Solar shared that the plant is now producing the Gamma Series and Vega Series modules for residential, commercial, industrial and utility applications. These ISO certifications have increased Boviet Solar's credibility as a qualified domestic supplier in the emerging US solar manufacturing market.
