Bondada Engineering, a Hyderabad-based infrastructure and solar EPC provider, has received MAHAGENCO’s Letter of Award for a Rs 465 crore (~ $52.4 million) integrated 100 MW AC solar project in Beed. Bondada Engineering said the award has included land identification, procurement and development along with complete design, engineering and supply obligations. MAHAGENCO stated the scope was expanded to cover civil works, electrical systems, permits, delivery infrastructure and grid-linked testing. Bondada Engineering confirmed the plant is planned at Jiwachiwadi in Kaij with proven mono-crystalline PV technology. The company added the project has required evacuation to the designated MSETCL or MSEDCL substation. Bondada Engineering said three-year operation and maintenance responsibilities were also included after the plant is commissioned.
