A pan-Asian renewable energy platform, Blueleaf Energy and Chemsain Sustainability signed an MoU in Singapore to explore up to 3 GW of onshore solar PV and battery storage projects in Sarawak, Malaysia. The collaboration was designed to support Malaysia’s energy transition plan and Sarawak’s 2030 development strategy. The MoU covered site access, permits, project design, and community involvement. The companies aimed to support local industrial growth, capacity building, and job creation. The agreement was signed during the Macquarie ASEAN Conference and witnessed by officials from Malaysia, Australia, and Sarawak agencies. The framework was intended to guide joint project development over a two-year period.
