UK-based \Aura Power, a global developer of renewable energy, has secured project finance for its Grimsby solar farm in Northeast Lincolnshire, with construction now underway. This is the company’s third UK solar project, following Kemble and Burtree Lane, and brings its total under-construction capacity to 190 MW. The Grimsby site features a single axis tracking system and landscaping designed to achieve a 71% biodiversity net gain. It has secured a government-backed Contract for Difference through Allocation Round 5. Early substation works are in progress, with main construction set to begin shortly and energisation targeted for early 2026. Rabobank has provided senior debt, continuing its partnership with Aura. The company is targeting delivery of a 0.5 GW UK solar portfolio by 2028, supported by timely grid connections and a defined delivery strategy
