UK's Atrato Onsite Energy, owned by Brookfield Renewables and Real Assets Investment Management Ltd, entered into an ABS warehouse agreement to fund its UK Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar projects. The facility, financed by Barclays Bank PLC, added GBP 250 million (~$330.63 million) of capacity to Atrato’s investment pipeline. The company aimed for GBP 1 billion (~$ 1.32 billion) in solar investment by 2030 and had developed a 240 MW solar portfolio since its launch in November 2021. Following its acquisition in November 2024, Atrato signed 10 PPAs and reached financial close on 42 MW of projects. Norton Rose Fulbright and Hogan Lovells advised Atrato and Barclays, respectively.
