Aslan Energy Capital, a Singapore-based clean energy company, has conducted a tender clarification workshop in Batam. The workshop was part of the procurement process for a 1.2 GW solar project, expected to be Indonesia’s largest. The project is in the Riau Islands and will support a green hydrogen production hub. It includes plans to use post-mining land for part of the installation and aims to create over 2,000 local jobs alongside community programs. The workshop provided technical and commercial briefings to participating bidders and allowed discussion on project requirements. Out of 31 Expressions of Interest received, 17 developers were prequalified for the final bidding stage. Aslan Energy Capital plans to continue engaging with shortlisted bidders as the project progresses toward implementation.
