Nigeria-based Salpha Energy, a clean energy company, has secured NGN 2 billion (~$1.26 million) in funding from All On to expand its local solar assembly and scale access to solar energy in Nigeria. The investment supported Salpha’s product portfolio growth, operational expansion, and the enhancement of its female-led solar home system assembly plant. Salpha’s systems, ranging from 150 W to 100 kW, included battery storage and smart inverters and were used in healthcare centers, schools, and micro-enterprises. Over 2 million people across Nigeria had benefited from these installations. All On stated that the funding addressed currency mismatch risks and backed indigenous innovation in the energy sector. Salpha emphasized the investment’s role in enabling energy access and promoting local manufacturing.
