N-Sun Energy, an investment vehicle of Alantra and Solarig, have secured €355 million (~$ 408.78 million) in green financing from Intesa Sanpaolo to develop and build five solar plants totaling 275 MW across Italy. It also obtained a €50 million (~$ 57.57 million) corporate financing facility from Bankinter, guaranteed by CESCE, to complete its investment program. The projects are located in Lazio, Puglia and Sicily, and were expected to start commercial operation by the end of 2027. Intesa Sanpaolo acted as lead arranger and green loan coordinator, while Bankinter provided additional financial support. The financing advanced N-Sun Energy’s 1.8 GW solar platform in Southern Europe, which had previously secured €213 million for a 306 MW portfolio in Spain and Italy.
