Adani Green Energy Limited, headquartered in Ahmedabad, has issued a INR 1,050 crore (~ $126 million) Letter of Intent to Bondada Engineering Limited, a Hyderabad-based infrastructure firm, for supplying Balance-of-System goods for a 650 MW solar project at Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. According to Bondada Engineering, the scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and delivery of materials at site. The order also covers factory acceptance tests, rectification, and provision of tools and equipment. Adani’s Khavda Renewable Energy Park spans 538 sq km in Kutch and forms part of its 30 GW renewable energy plan. The project, started in December 2022, is positioned to become the world’s largest power generation complex. Adani Green Energy aims to invest about INR 1.5 lakh crore (~ $18 billion) in renewable capacity by 2030.
