Abunayyan Holding, a Riyadh-based solutions provider for energy and water and Nextracker, a US-headquartered solar tracker maker has signed the agreement to build a joint venture by the name of Nextracker Arabia. The Riyadh-based venture is designed to enhance solar equipment deployment and manufacturing in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East and North Africa region. It will combine sales, engineering, and manufacturing activities and take over Nextracker's current solar plant in the Kingdom.The joint venture will produce solar trackers, mechanical structures, and control systems for utility-scale and distributed generation projects. The partnership is in line with Saudi Arabia's ambition to install 130 GW of renewable capacity by 2030 under its Vision 2030 program, Nextracker said.
