2C Energia opens first solar plant in Brazil

A 2.7 MW solar plant was launched in Brazlândia as part of 2C Energia's national expansion by Czarnikow and CMAA, targeting 400 MW with green hydrogen integration.

2C Energia, a joint venture of Czarnikow and CMAA, has inaugurated its first solar plant in Brazlândia,with 2.7MW capacity. The plant serves around 4,000 people. Two more solar plants, with 6.8MW in TupiPaulista, São Paulo, and 3.4MW in Araputanga, Mato Grosso, will open this June. Together, these add 10.2MW of capacity. A 350MW complex in Maranhão is under construction to supply energy for green hydrogen used in biofertilizer production in the Matopiba region. 2C Energia plans to reach 400MW of total capacity, with 40MW for distributed generation. Its plants use AI, IoT, and predictive tools. Environmental measures are in place at its Sete Lagoas site.
