FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies has partnered with Better Energy for a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to procure 40 GWh of renewable energy annually. This will begin in July 2025 and is expected to cover the entire electricity consumption of its Hillerød, Denmark facility, including new operations starting in 2024. The agreement also supports the construction of a new solar park near Vedde, Denmark. This solar park is expected to produce 110 GWh of energy annually, which is enough to power roughly 68,000 Danish households.
