FMO, Norfund, Siemens back BECIS’s solar with $53M equity financing

BECIS, a Singapore-based clean energy company, announced $53 million in equity financing from existing shareholders, including FMO, Norfund, Siemens Financial Services, and Pula Investments. This funding supports BECIS’s solar, bioenergy, and cooling-heating solutions across eight Asian markets, aligning with its goal to achieve 600 MW solar capacity and 400 TPH bioenergy assets within two years. The funds will also enhance EaaS platform and contribute to decentralised energy generation, job creation, and climate goals in strategic markets such as India, Thailand, and Vietnam.
