Avaada Energy, a key player in renewable energy and part of the Avaada Group, has secured a 1050 MWp solar project tender from the Renewable Energy Implementing Agency (REIA) of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). The project, won at a tariff of $0.032 per kWh, is slated for completion within 2-years of signing a 25-year PPA. This solar project will produce approximately 1800 million units of renewable energy annually, sufficient to power over 1.2 million households, and is projected to cut about 16,81,200 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, supporting India's climate goals. Additionally, Avaada has recently surpassed 15 GWp in Letters of Award and PPAs in India.
