Australia-based Potentia Energy has announced the completion of its agreement with CVC DIF and Cbus Super to acquire controlling stakes in over 1 GW of renewable assets across Australia. The portfolio included 700 MW of operational wind and solar assets and over 430 MW of late-stage developments. It included shares in Bright Energy Investments (BEI), a joint venture with Synergy. Assets acquired spanned multiple states and the ACT, with notable sites including Warradarge Wind Farm, Greenough River Solar Farm, Albany Grasmere Wind Farm, Clare Solar Farm, Royalla Solar Farm, and Bungala Solar Farm. Potentia Energy already operated over 400 MW of solar capacity and a 75 MW wind farm. It also had ongoing projects like a solar and battery hybrid in New South Wales. Rights for over 7 GW of development pipeline had been secured. This follows Potentia Energy’s 1 GW acquisition, co-owned by Enel Green Power and INPEX, in Australia.
