Masdar, DEWA, and Larsen & Toubro are collaborating on the sixth phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai. The project, set to utilize 1,800 MW of Astronergy’s ASTRO N5 n-type TOPCon PV modules, aims to increase the park’s total capacity to 4,660 MW. This venture, part of the UAE Energy Strategy 2050 initiative, represents an AED 50 billion investment in clean energy. Upon completion, the park will account for 24% of Dubai’s energy mix. The project is expected to reduce over 6.5 million tons of carbon emissions annually upon grid connection in Q2 2026.
