China-based Astronergy recently presented its ASTRO N series TOPCon solar modules at Intersolar Mexico 2024, held from September 3-4 at Centro Citibanamex, Mexico City. According to Astronergy, the ASTRO N5 and N7 modules are tailored for Mexico’s solar market, utilizing its self-developed TOPCon 4.0 technology. The ASTRO N7’s low VOC design allows more modules per string, reducing Balance of System (BOS) costs, says Astronergy. Astronergy anticipates that the temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C of its ASTRO N5 ensures stable performance in Mexico’s high temperatures. The event enabled Astronergy to strengthen its global ties, claims Astronergy. According to Statista, Mexico ranks among Latin America’s top three countries in solar resources, with solar power generation rising 33.4% last year.
