China-based Astronergy has unveiled its ASTRO N8 TOPCon PV module at the Return of the Jumps event, held on November 29 at Doncaster Racecourse in the UK. This gathering of global solar brands and experts focused on advancing the UK solar market. According to Astronergy, the ASTRO N8 module features G12 wafers (210×210mm) with a 66-cell layout and 18 busbars, delivering over 720 W of power with 23.2% efficiency. The low Voc design boosts single-string capacity by 29.6% compared to conventional modules, reducing DC-side costs like brackets and cables, says Astronergy. The modules are aimed to be ideal for large-scale utility projects.
