Array Technologies has introduced Hail Alert Response, an innovative solution to safeguard solar assets from hail damage. By leveraging advanced weather prediction algorithms, the system autonomously stows solar trackers ahead of hail events, enhancing system resilience and longevity. Available across the United States, this technology integrates seamlessly with existing DuraTrack or OmniTrack systems, ensuring wide applicability. Secure communication protocols encrypt all interactions between the SmarTrack Data Platform and on-site controllers, providing robust protection. To utilize the Hail Alert Response features effectively, a subscription to the service and a SmarTrack Controller are required.
