India-based APM Terminals Pipavav has partnered with CleanMax under a 25-year PPA for a hybrid wind-solar power project in Gujarat. The project, developed under the Third-Party Open Access model, includes 3.50 MW of wind and 1.06 MW of solar capacity. It is being implemented in two phases: January 2022 (2 MW wind, 0.50 MW solar) and September 2024 (1.50 MW wind, 0.56 MW solar). According to CleanMax, the project will generate approximately 5.4 million kWh annually and cut CO2 emissions by 3,822 metric tons per year. APM Terminals Pipavav claims the initiative aligns with its goals of net-zero emissions by 2040 and a 65% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, compared to 2022 levels.
