AMPYR Energy USA has acquired over 210 MWp of utility-scale solar projects in North and South Carolina. This acquisition includes two advanced-stage projects, which are anticipated to secure long-term offtake agreements with utilities or commercial customers in 2024. Managed by AMPYR’s in-house development and technical team, this move aligns with the company's broader strategy to build a scalable and regional portfolio of renewable energy assets. The company says this expansion marks a significant milestone for its solar and battery storage operations in the US, strengthening its presence in the Southeast US and enhancing its US pipeline, which now exceeds 4 GW of carbon-free energy. This acquisition reflects AMPYR's commitment to balanced growth across ISO and non-ISO markets, AMPYR claims.
