AMPIN secures $35 million from responsAbility

AMPIN Energy Transition, a leading renewable energy transition company, has secured a $35 million investment from responsAbility, a Switzerland-based impact asset manager. This investment, part of responsAbility’s $500 million climate investment strategy, aims to actively reduce CO2 emissions in Asia. AMPIN plans to utilize the funds to expand its renewable energy portfolio across India, focusing on commercial and industrial solar projects. With ambitions to increase operating capacity to 10 GW by 2030, AMPIN aims to contribute significantly to India’s goal of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity. AMPIN, headquartered in India, currently manages over 3 GW of renewable energy projects across 21 states, serving both C&I and utility customers.
