AmpIn Energy Transition secures a 25-year PPA for a 6 MW solar project with Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. This marks their third metro venture, following successful projects with L&T Metro & Kochi Metro. The 6 MW solar project will be developed in two packages of 2.5 MW and 3.5 MW, distributed across 19 sites, including metro station rooftops, depot buildings, admin buildings, and station track walls, replacing 36% of grid power for Nagpur Metro and achieving a 41% cost savings. The environmental impact is substantial, with an estimated annual carbon offset of 7,000 MT of CO2 throughout the project’s lifespan.
