Zelestra has commenced construction on its two largest solar projects developed in the United States to date. The projects include the 253 MWdc Echols Grove solar facility in Lamar County, Texas, and the 188 MWdc Cedar Range project in Hopkins County, Texas. McCarthy Building Companies has been appointed as the lead EPC contractor responsible for project construction. Both projects are supported by long-term power purchase agreements with Meta. Construction began in January 2026, with commercial operations expected by the end of 2027. The two facilities will install about 704,000 bifacial solar modules across approximately 2,400 acres. The projects are expected to support more than 400 local jobs and generate around $20 million in local spending.
