Waaree Solar Americas Inc., the US subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, had secured a 288 MW solar module order from Sabancı Renewables. The order was the same win disclosed to stock exchanges on 5 December 2025. It was distributed across two utility-scale projects in Texas, the Pepper Solar Project in Waco and the Lucky 7 Solar Project in Brashear. Module deliveries were scheduled to begin in Q3 2026. The order marked Waaree’s first deployment of 620 W bifacial modules with 3.2 mm front glass designed for severe weather and hail-prone areas. The technology included high-strength glass, enhanced load tolerance, reduced degradation and a defined bill of materials. The modules were designed for the climate conditions of Texas. The order expanded Waaree’s presence in the North American market.
