Verogy, a US–based solar energy developer, has started construction of seven rooftop installations at Kohl's stores. The portfolio spans California, Delaware, Illinois, and Ohio, and the installations include more than 9,100 solar panels across the seven rooftops. Collectively, the arrays are set to produce over 6.6 million kWh of clean energy each year and is projected to offset more than 4,400 metric tons of CO₂ annually from the systems. The project is reported to generate enough electricity annually to power over 600 households. The deployment follows three rooftop portfolio that were finished at Kohl's Arizona stores in 2023.
