Germany-based solar wafer manufacturer NexWafe and Talon PV announced a partnership and wafer supply agreement at Intersolar USA in San Diego. The agreement supports Talon PV’s planned TOPCon cell production in Texas. It also advances a Western-aligned wafer-to-cell supply chain for next-generation photovoltaics. Talon PV is establishing its TOPCon pilot line at Fraunhofer ISE. Initial qualification of NexWafe’s EpiNex® wafers will begin this year as part of the technical collaboration.
